Why Asia?

“Instead of seeing persecution, poverty, and minority status as barriers, we see them as an opportunity for a renewed model of Gospel witness: presence sustained through work, microbusiness, and discipleship, becoming a bridge of trust that opens natural doors for the good news of Jesus.”

Our Thesis
Where persecution creates barriers to Gospel witness and poverty creates barriers to opportunity, Talantons collaborates with local churches to create a renewed model for everyday Gospel presence.
Through sustainable microbusiness systems, we equip believers with meaningful work, practical training, and discipleship pathways that create jobs, strengthen community trust, and open natural doors for long-term Gospel witness.
Everyday work becomes a bridge.
Sustainable microbusinesses create legitimate presence in the community.
Meaningful work builds trust.
Discipleship strengthens believers and daily relationships open natural doors for the good news of Jesus to be seen, heard, and shared.
When the Church is present in both spiritual care and practical empowerment, communities can be reached, workers can be dignified, and discipleship can grow through everyday life.
Starting in Indonesia
Indonesia represents both the challenge and the opportunity. It is a nation with deep spiritual significance, large communities, and enormous potential for Gospel-centered impact. At the same time, many believers live in a context where religious pressure, social suspicion, and religious radicalism can create real barriers to open Christian witness.
For this reason, Talantons is beginning in Indonesia as a starting point for a broader movement across Asia: local churches strengthened, believers equipped, communities served, and Christ made known through faithful everyday presence.
